Constantly, I see 222 and 555 through empath eyes. What moves within me is a mixture of vengeance, trauma and empathy. I am enlightened spiritually, transcending all that is within this realm; I am at war with otherworldly entities. I beheld the woman who gave birth to the woman who gave birth to me, lie still in peaceful sleep, and I wept sorely. The days of grace wane. Soon, there will be a time of no mercy. My lineage is not one of nobility. My blood inheritance is misery. I love deeply with all that is within me, but sustained trauma has led to a vengeful enmity for my enemies. In agony, I have wept and have not slept. In anguished breath, I have cried on engraved crystal white granite where my beloved ones are kept. I have curated the museum of my life’s story with emotional depth. I have gone through the motions of perhaps pretending to live, while secretly craving an end to torment and the hope of eternal rest. I have witnessed the futility of trying to explain the potency of my agony. I have resided many years in the unforgiving shadow of death’s valley. The sweetness of vengeance is like warm freshly baked bread paired with English tea and an even spread of raw honey. I listen to Bach’s Crucifixus to add a soundtrack to my memories. So many feign misunderstanding to cloak virulent apathy. If I am broken, then let the most alluring pieces of me be my legacy. In backtracking to find the precise period of my tragedy, I have essentially become my own mystery. I am flawed, perhaps purgatory will cleanse me of my impurities. Future events are revealed to the Empath, but not yet fully. They say music calms the troubled soul. Somewhere, a cellist plays beautifully. The harpsichord and violin come in while I await the crescendo of a new symphony.

She was a seedling that grew into a beautiful flower;
Born in December, she amazingly bloomed in the winter.
Her petals are bruised because she’s been hurt many times before,
But now she is lovingly watered — and under healing sunlight,
Rich and nurturing soil her long strong roots explore.
With vitriol, some call her whore — but their
Taunts trouble her beautiful and wondrous soul no more.
Radiantly, she towers over them with protective thorns on her stem;
They could never dare to even attempt to hold her ever again.
Beautiful rain falls on her delicate petals, and she is gorgeous.
They revile her publicly, but secretly they are jealous;
They boil in their anger because they could never have her.
Her glory is heavenly — radiantly, she blooms endlessly.

They’ve both greatly suffered
and the pain of that sorrow still lingers,
but now they find comfort in each other
and an ineffable love like no other.
They discovered that the healing they needed
is within them, and with every loving moment shared
their anguish comes closer to an end;
so to heal, they hold each other
and kiss deeply, again and again—
making love intensely immersed in the beauty
of sincerity with the warmth of their bodies
causing a healing fire as they mend. -

The most fragile parts of me I reveal to you openly.
Without fear, I shine light on the secrecy of my vulnerabilities,
Letting go, and giving you the most intimate parts of me, willingly.
See me in my sincerity, and take me into your heart lovingly—
For I am a man of strength, devotion, and intimacy
Who has survived the bitter cold of tragedy and has loved deeply;
The seasons pass by — and many tears I have cried silently.
If you receive me, receive me completely, in my joy; in my agony. -

The darkness conceals,
hiding pain behind its veil—
and stifling the anguished screams.

They say agony purifies
The mind and body,
But the soul withers,
And the aura dies
Where there is unending torment
And pain incessantly. -

The tears she cries come from a deep sorrow that wounded her long ago.
She is in pain, but because her spirit is beautiful, sometimes it does not show.
She is an angel, who will transcend and touch the heavens, but she does not yet know.
She has held on for so long, but to heal, she will learn to let go. -

In pain, the soul wails,
And the depths of her cry out.
The fallacy of normalcy, is no more.
She is tormented, but lucid;
The potency of her agony
Is measured in piercing screams.
It is the wounding of her being;
The severity of agony finally revealed.
It is the culmination of years of pain
And of things unseen.
